This means I need at least 230.4kbps capability from something using standard serial. I would prefer something even faster that would give me more time to do other things besides log the data. Ideally, I could send the data from the Arduino Mega to some SPI enabled with a SPI clock rate of around 1Mhz. 1- Catalex micro SD card data logger modules. It’s running on 3.3v so you can connect it to a 3.3v power source or you can connect it to a power supply ranges between 4.5V 5.5V and then it will pass by an internal voltage regulator to step the power down to 3.3v.

Introduction

An Arduino-compatible logger that writes all serial data input on digital pin 0 (RXD) to a micro SD card. Serial input is interrupt-driven and double-buffered for maximum throughput.
